Laundry. We all have it and deal with it everyday! From wearing it, to putting it away, having a well organized Laundry Room can be extremally important!

Laundry Rooms come in many shapes and sizes.
They can also have many different functions!

For this reason, it is important for us to have a good understanding of how your family wants to use their Laundry Room.

Below are some common functions we see in Laundry Rooms.

BAISIC LAUNDRY FEATURES:

It’s a given that a Laundry Room has a washer and dryer, it wouldn’t be a Laundry Room without it! However, the type (stackable / side-by-side or front-load / top load) and size of your washer / dryer is important to know. Some clients want 2 washers / dryers, or commercial sizes, as well.

We will take all of this into account while designing the space, as well as any other basic laundry features wanted: utility sink, ironing board, drying racks, etc.

STORAGE FEATURES:

Storage is often another area for us to address. At the very least, you will need a storage cabinet for all of your laundry supplies.

However, having additional storage space for other items such as paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, or additional clothing storage, is often desired for the space.

MUDROOM FEATURES:

Mudrooms and Laundries are often combined if there’s an exterior door in the Laundry room. This allows family members to come in and remove dirty shoes / clothes immediately without having to track through the house.

PET FEATURES:

If you have a four-legged friend, then you know that there are some useful pet features that you will want / need in your home.

Often, we put these features in the Laundry room. However, it is very important for us to know what your needs are so we can design the space for them.
