With the Executive Design Package, we will show you what colors, materials, and furnishings look like together to remove your uncertainty and reduce potential change orders during construction. As we have discussed before, change orders are often costly and cause delays. Instead, let us give you peace of mind to know that everything you are selecting works together!
A SMOOTHER EXPERIENCE
We’ve found that streamlining the selection process while we finalize the home design facilitates a smoother experience for the Client, Interior Designer, and Contractor, particularly as the bidding phase begins.
Making selections prior to the bid allows for a more accurate bidding process. It also allows your construction and interior design team to have visual representations of what things should look like, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
While there will always be some surprises along the way, this process should reduce those to a minimum and make the construction process much smoother!
SEE THE DIFFERENCE
Below are some images that show you what the Executive Design Package has to offer compared to a design that has fewer real-life selections depicted.
Images on the left have more “placeholders,” or generic materials and furnishings. These couches, chairs, etc. are there to fill the space to ensure everything fits, but they are not what you’re going to actually purchase.
The images on the right, however, have actual materials and furnishings that (in this case) the Interior Designer selected. There still may be some “placeholders,” but the majority of the furnishings are actual pieces that they intend to purchase.
This allows the client and interior designer to see how all the selections will look when put together! If they don’t like a specific chair, we can replace it with another chair until they find one they like.
The best part? This requires no returns or exchanges!

Now you have seen the difference. The impact the difference makes is truly amazing! The left side is colder, generic, and lacks personality.
Sure, you get a sense of how the space flows and functions, but it really lacks a personal touch and excitement. It also leaves a lot of questions to be answered regarding the details and how everything is going to look when it all comes together.
On the other hand, the images on the right are warm and inviting. They have personalized touches that depict the personality and style of the homeowners!
